Derek Quotes
Derek flashed his golden wolf eyes at Alex, warning her not to bother him. "I'm Derek. Alpha of the pack." he said.
"See? You're fine." he said, letting her go. He backed away, since she had asked him too. Wait, that wasn't right. HE was the alpha, the ONLY alpha. No-one told him what to do.
"Sorry. Excuse me for thinking in my own head." Derek snapped. "I can feel your anxiety. Its pathetic. I can take care of myself." he said.
"Hey, you want to see something?" he asked hopefully.
"You don't know what you're dealing with." Derek muttered grimly, then backed away, into the shadows. He rolled his shoulders forwards and backwards, his teeth appearing and his eyes changing from menacing gray to fiery blue. "I won't hurt you." he growled, then stepped into the light, flinching.
Derek laughed humorlessly. "You've seen worse?" he asked, letting her into his memories. The terror of his family as they tried to escape their fate. It was
all his fault. The way his sister screamed as she burned. The way his former girlfriend, Kate, had tortured him. The way his own uncle had tried to kill him.
How his heart was so scarred he could never find love or trust anyone, even Scott, the one person that knew him best. All the secrets and the lies. The hatred that burned powerful and strong, that consumed his body completely, leaving a thirst for revenge that only Kate's blood could quench.
Derek laughed dryly. "Don't be. I don't need anyone to feel sorry for me anymore." he said, putting his hands in his pockets and turning away, while his mind screamed at him for being such a coward. What am I hiding from? he thought. Her. You know you like her. His conscience said dryly. That bothered him. It reminded him of himself. No I don't. he argued. Yes, you do. NO, I don't. Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. NO. It's too early. he argued with himself. Fine, suit yourself. Derek's conscience said, fading away. But remember, I told you so.....
Derek grinned coldly. "I'm Derek. Alpha of the pack." he said, then stuck out his hand. "Sorry, I forgot. No touching." he said, blue eyes flashing and wolfy teeth grinning. He pulled back, and returned to his human form. "Want to meet the rest of us later? I think you might find us interesting." he said excitedly, thinking of Adrian meeting the rest of his pack. He was, strangely, happy.
He knocked Vlad over, standing between Katherine and Vlad. "Keep your hands off her." he growled, his long, bone-crushing, dagger-sharp teeth becoming visible, and his blue eyes dangerously bright. His werewolf body was gearing up for battle. He ignored the b*tch on the floor.
"I don't care. You never, ever touch a woman without her permission!" he snarled, giving Lilac the alpha stare.
"You dare growl at me?" Derek said, snarling, advancing a step. This was no longer about protecting Katherine, it was about protecting his rank in the pack. His wolf instinct automatically tensed when Lilac growled at him, the alpha of the pack. He wasn't thinking anymore.
Derek grew tired of waiting, his new, alpha personality more ambitious and restless than before. He walked out of the kitchen. "You know, turning invisible can't hide you from anyone who is an animal." he mused, pinpointing Adrian's exact location using scent and sound.
Derek froze. "Shh." he said, his muscular form rippling as he instantly became a werewolf. He searched the trees. Something had triggered his instinct to defend. There. Did that shadow just move? he couldn't be sure. There. That time something definitely moved. "Adrian, I-" his words of warning was cut off as an arrow whizzed by his head. He roared in outrage, reaching for Adrian. A ball of light hit the wall behind him, throwing off his senses. "Run!" he shouted, eyes
blazing red. He groaned in pain as an arrow buried itself in his arm, pinning him to the tree behind him. "Go!" he managed to say, before blackness over took him.
Derek's brain was so fried from trying to protect Adrian and not hurt Katherine's feelings and trying not to turn savage and go rip Kate's face off, but he kinda lost it. He didn't even ask Adrian why she was in his head. I'll try.
"Hey, hey, hey. Let me do it. You could puncture a vital organ or something." Derek said, breaking his own arrow and pulling the shaft out of his arm. "I really hate your guts, Kate." he muttered, easing himself into a sitting position. He winced, but pulled Adrian onto his lap. "Where does it hurt?" he asked, taking off his shirt and putting it under Adrian's head.
Derek rolled his eyes. "Don't spare anybody's sanity, do you?" he said, picking up Adrian and carrying her to the mansion as fast as he could, which wasn't very fast, since he still had a bullet lodged in his side. He shouldered his way through the front doors, using werewolf strength, and called out weakly. "Help! Adrian's hurt!" he said, his legs folding underneath the strain. He managed to stay on his knees, and he gazed into Adrian's eyes. "If we die..." he said slowly.
Derek looked over to Adrian. "To the hospital. Or the vet." he added, with a frown. He climbed into the driver's seat and sped down the highway, one hand on the wheel and the other on Adrian's leg, holding her in place, as a seatbelt wouldn't work.
Derek growled, snarling at one of the doctors. She looked back, surprised. "Sorry.." he mumbled, trying to think of a good excuse. "I had something caught in my throat." he said. The doctor smiled, nodding, and turned back to Adrian, while Derek watched for trouble with blazing blue eyes.
Derek laughed sarcastically. Adrian had interrupted him from pacing the length of the small room. "You're reputation? I'm going to have to shoulder my way through laughing crowds of werewolves. They're going to think I've gone soft." he said, eyes still bright blue with excitement. Werewolf emotions took a long time to settle down, but were easily changed.
Derek raised one black, sharply arched eyebrow. "A shot at Kate?" he growled, eyes narrowed. "I would never let her get close to you. If she knew how I felt about you...." he trailed off, lost in thought. "And no, I don't find you tom-boyish. I've had to put up with worse." he said, flashing a wicked, charming grin. "That was before I got upset. No more problems after that."
Derek stood with his back to Adrian, breathing in and out. His eyes blazed an icy blue, and he was very, very tense. He breathed in deeply through his nose. "Give me one reason.... why I shouldn't go rip out Drake's throat with my teeth RIGHT now." he said slowly, turning to face her.
"Yes." Derek said bluntly, breathing in the scent of Adrian's hair. She smelled good. Like....... REALLY good. Jeez, Derek, you're such a sissy. Derek's conscience
complained, chewing on an apple inside the alpha's skull. I don't want her to abandon me like Kate did. Derek shot back, shutting up his conscience for a while.
Derek smiled a bit at Adrian's remark. "I never said the world wasn't. Now - about that brother of yours.." Derek said, trailing off, lifting up Adrian's chin and kissing her, slow and deep and passionate.
Kate dragged Derek in the door, dropping him softly on the couch. She brought out her emergency kit, drawing out the scalpel. "Sorry, but I'm not sorry." the
pretty blonde said, cutting deep into the flesh on Derek's arm. She fished around in the skin and muscles, gritting her teeth. Triumphantly, she drew out the bullet, sowing up the wound. She watched, fascinated and disgusted as Derek's body healed the wound in a few seconds.
"Kate?" Derek asked wearily, sitting up.
"Hi Derek." Kate whispered softly, leaning forward and touching Derek's face with one hand.
"Kate." Derek said, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, shut up Derek." Kate interrupted, kissing Derek slowly.
Derek groaned. "Kate. We can't do this." he mumbled, wrapping his arms around her.
"Why not." Kate grumbled, pulling away. "Just try. Try for me. Try for us." Kate whispered.
Derek groaned again, throwing up his hands. "Fine. Fine, i surrender." he muttered, pulling Kate under the sheet and burying her in a slow kiss.
((timeskip))
Kate sat up, smiling. "There's something i should tell you." she said, the smile fading.
"Anything." Derek said, leaning back on the couch with his arms crossed over his head.
"I'm........ pregnant. You're the father." Kate whispered, embarrassed.
Derek glowered at Adrian, then moved swiftly forward, taking her face in both of his hands and biting into her neck. He pulled away. "If you live-" he said flatly. "You'll be one of us." he said, vanishing into the forest.
Derek looked at Adrian, sitting carefully on the edge of her bed. He wasn't sure if she was recovered yet. The werewolf healing should kick in soon. he thought, leaning forward and kissing her, gently, smoldering the air between them. "Does that answer your question?" he asked, looking into her eyes with his own.
Derek blushed. He reached into the back pocket of his jeans, pulling out a small, square box covered in generous amounts of black velvet. Her gently pulled Adrian to her feet, and kneeled. "Adrian." he began, opening the box. Inside was a ring, a silver band encrusted with diamonds, a large gray-blue sapphire dominated the center of the band.
"Lost manners? Me?" Derek said, feigning shock.
Derek looked at Adrian. "Well, uh.. He's coming to meet you. Formally. For the first time as his alpha." he said, shrugging his shoulders. "Its a werewolf custom, for the pack to party all night long in the celebration of the new alphas. No biggie. Just try not to fall flat on your face, okay?" Derek said, reaching for Adrian's hand.
Derek felt the change in atmosphere. "Do you like it when i growl?" he asked, stepping closer, fingering the hair by her ear. He breathed in. "Mmmmh. You smell so,.... good." he said, a growl rumbling low in his chest and resonating across the room.
"Yes." Derek answered without thinking. For him, that was the truth. He had carefully considered his options, knowing two could not be his. He had wanted the strongest, smartest, most beautiful girl to be his bride. Adrian had been that girl. Maybe not in the eyes of others, but his eyes were clouded with love. Love is the haze that grasps us by the heart and never lets go, love is the fire in which we spend most of our time in. Love is forever.
{{"Big bad wolf? Honey, i'm the biggest, baddest wolf of them all." he said, relaxing.
[... Alright, I'm bought with Derek now. Just that one line... oh yeah. I like him XD XD XD XD]
Adrian grinned and raised a eyebrow. "Is that so?" she asked playfully. "Hmm, well, I'll need to write that one down." she commented innocently and she sighed dramatically and gazed off playfully, practically mimicking the people in movies when they just realize something big.}}

Adrianna Quotes
Adrian looked at him for a long time, her expression kept blank. She wasn't scared, but interested. She listened hard on his emotions and tried to sort it
all out. "Blue," she whispered to herself, thinking about his so-called color. It was how she organized people by colors. A small grin crept onto her face. "I've seen worse." she said simply with a shrug of her shoulders, then she thought grimly about her father and putting him in a coma. She shuttered at the memory and then shook her head clear.
Adrian stared at him for a long time, silent. She started to open her mouth to say something, but then hesitated when she realized she didn't know what to say. "Wow..." she said finally, her voice soft. She looked down and let out a long sigh, running a hand through her hair. And she thought accidentally frying her father's brain was bad. Ha. This guy, this guy right in front of her had been through a lot. She stared at her boots, unable to breath for a moment. Finally, she chewed on her lip as she controlled her emotions and meeting his eyes again, she said, "I'm sorry." She wrapped her arms around herself and felt uncomfortable, looking away, but somehow puzzled.
Adrian watched quietly him as he left, one part wanting to go after him and scream at him that she wasn't one to take much pity on anybody, and the other side wanting to seek out everything behind those eyes. A strange yet interesting flavor rolled across her tongue and she paused. She tried to make sense of it and slowly, with wide eyes, she looked up at him. "Hey! Wait!" she cried, jogging to catch up. She reached out to tug on his arm, but then remember she couldn't touch anybody and stopped. "I.. I can't feel or hear you." she said, panting and bending down to put her hands on her knees. Then she rolled her eyes, knowing that wouldn't make any sense to him. "I... I'm a Mind-Caster, okay? I can taste and hear and even feel people's emotions." she narrowed her eyes at him and chewed on her lip, standing up straight again. "Why... Why can't I feel you? Are you clasping something over yourself, what?!" This was scaring her since she had always been able to feel somebody, for that matter, anybody.
"You don't have to go." then she frowned. "Oh, by the way I'm Adrian." she mumbled.
Adrian, for the first time in a long time, smiled a little. "Derek, huh? Well, Derek, sure. I'd like to." she said and shrugged her shoulders. She watched when his eyes flashed a blue and smirked. "That's neat. Kinda like..." she frowned, thinking of her power. Each person kind of brought off a different color, it was how she sorted people. She could actually sense where certain people were by their 'colors'. She shook her head clear and then nodded. "But yeah, sure." she grinned sheepishly.
Adrian froze when Derek told her to stay there. But at least a minute after he left, she felt a stinging in her hands. She looked down at them and chewed on her lip. "Great," she mumbled to herself. She tasted something metallic run over her tongue and she groaned inwardly. There was a fight going on. She turned up her music just a bit more as she walked stiffly into the kitchen, and froze at what she saw. She felt her fits clench and then unclench.
Adrian froze in place and winced. She sighed and turned visible again, whipping around, her face flushed. "What do you want... again?!" she cried, throwing her hands up in the air, exasperated. "If you can't tell, I'm going somewhere." she said, her tone and expression sarcastic. She sighed and chewed on her lip a moment, crossing her arms and glaring at him. She usually glared at people to keep their distance, but right now she was pretty angry but had no idea why. "Jealously?" she thought, almost frightened by the idea. "Of that...girl?!" She looked away for a second, trying to sort through her emotions. Then she set her jaw and shook her head clear of that foolishness. She didn't like Derek! That was stupid! She... She was a mind-caster - a person who could do anything with the mind and emotions, which hurt -. She would never be able to love somebody! This was pathetic, even thinking about it.
Adrian's head was spinning for two reasons. One, all of the chaotic noise around her and two, emotions. For a odd reason, every inch of her body hurt with Derek's emotions. She could almost feel everything about him. She moaned softly as something pressed its weight on her. Her eyes went rolling into the back of her head, everything suddenly bright. The pain in her stomach where the arrow lay, buried deep felt like fire spreading up and down her body. Her teeth gritted, trying to fight it. She also felt a warm, goo under her shirt which she knew very well. It was blood. Her eyes slowly focused on Derek on top of her,
and she frowned a little, trying to make sense of it all. Her mind went around in circles and circles, trying to think. Then, hopefully trying to use her telepathy, she said in Derek's mind, "Wha... Wha gona on?" Her eyes fluttered shut again and she heard her teeth chatter together. All of her energy was wasted, and she could not move. Her last thoughts as she lost consciousness was, "Stay alive." and all of her lost thoughts about worrying about Derek.
Adrian looked straight into his eyes, not moving one inch of her body. "We won't die.." she said softly and slowly, but was a bit unsure. She, of course, was losing a lot of blood and felt dizzy every other second. "I wouldn't blame.. you.." she whispered, her eyes closing again, but then grimaced and forced her eyes opened again.
Adrian's head still swam and everything was so bright she had to close her eyes again. "Does..." she took a slow breath and tried to right herself in her seat.
"Is it that bad?" she mumbled, and opened her eyes. She looked down at herself and realized how much she was actually bleeding. "Guess so." she muttered to herself. Her tongue felt thick and she couldn't make sense of much. She looked over at Derek, his face slightly blurred. "The vet... Do I look like a animal? No offense to the were-wolves." she grinned almost drunkenly and closed her eyes again, her head resting back.
Adrian was half passed out when they started to stitch her up. In the back of her mind she was thinking I'm not supposed to be here. What is that pain? It felt like fire running through her. As she lost consciousness again from blood loss, she swirled down into a dark pit where she only saw one thing watching her: Derek's eyes.
[... Time skip....]
Adrian heard beeping and opened her eyes. She was lying on a bed in, the hospital. Everything came slowly back to her and she let out a slow, almost shocked breath and closed her eyes to clear her head. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "This is so not good for my reputation." she grumbled.
Adrian yanked furiously on the cuff with her free hand, staring in horror at the spot where Derek had just disappeared. "Derek!" she shouted after him. "Get your wolfy a** back over here or I swear I will kill you! If your psycho wife kills you, I will bring you back from hell and kill you a million times over again!" Feeling that her threats were useless, she turned back to her cuffed hand and started pulling on it. "Bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger, bugger," she muttered to herself each time she yanked. She placed her boot against the bark and pulled hard. It didn't even budge and it just dug into the skin at her wrist, making it bloody. Behind her, she heard a twig snap. Adrian realized too late that she had been paying all of her bloody attention to her cuffed hand and thinking of a thousand ways she would get Derek back. She whipped around, but saw nothing but shadows. Slowly, a color came to her attention in her mind. Red. Blood red. Only one person had that color and it wasn't somebody she was ready to face yet. She looked around frantically for Derek. "Derek! Alright, I won't kill you!" she screamed for him. She heard foot steps approaching her from behind. "DEREK! PLEASE! I'M NOT KIDDING ANYMORE! GET ME OUT OF THIS! PLEASE!" knowing he wouldn't come, or thinking so, she started to panic. "Oh sh*t, Oh sh*t, Oh sh*t, Oh sh*t, Oh sh*t, Oh sh*t," she whispered to herself, frightened. Then she felt body heat press close to her body. "Shhhh," the boy - her brother, Drake- whispered sadistically into her ear. Something red and scaly like a snake wrapped tightly around her throat, cutting off her air. And as she started to pass out from not able to breath, she heard the all too real ghostly-voice in her ear whisper, "WE don't want your boyfriend to come back too early, do we? We don't want him to see what happens after I-" she lost consciousness.
Adrian sat there, a bit stunned at what he had just done... or was doing at the moment. She closed her eyes, kind of enjoying somebody's company for the first time. She was just about to kiss him back when her eyes flew open and she pulled back, realizing this wasn't her place. She wasn't supposed to be here. This... this was for Katherine or Kate, or some other girl, not her. Not her at all. She was a Mind-Caster, she wouldn't be able to love anybody or to let
anybody love her. She let out a shaky breath and stood slowly, watching his eyes. "I... Derek, I... I like you a lot, but.... I..." she didn't know what to say and she felt wrong about it all, and not to mention sick. She bit her lip, trying hard not to do say something stupid and sprinted toward her room. Once she got there, she closed the door quickly and sunk to the floor, both of her hands over her mouth trying hard not to cry.
She ran out the door, accidentally slamming it behind. "Wait! Derek, I'm sorry!" she got out in a gasp, and quickly stepped in front of him. She turned him to her by his shoulders so he couldn't really put up a agreement. Then, thinking of the only thing she could, she got on her tip toes and kissed him for a long moment. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything, alright? I didn't mean to... I... I just don't want to hurt you, alright? My powers... I'm... I'm a weapon with no safety. That's practically me, ok? I just didn't want to hurt you back there." she said in a rush after she pulled back. Then she noticed Katherine and gritted her teeth in irritation. Well, he got her point. She realized her feet were bare and she was running after a guy who she really liked. She cursed silently to himself and just merely nodded in Katherine's direction before she bit her lip, looking at him to watch his expression.
Adrian's eyes went wide, realizing she had screwed up... again. She knew, no matter what, that Derek couldn't really be happy with her. Katherine was the one
who needed somebody. "Wait, Katherine, no, no, stop!" Adrian called after her. She was struggling. Struggling between letting Katherine have Derek, because
well, Adrian couldn't have him and because Katherine seemed to need somebody. "Derek loves you! You love Derek! You guys are the perfect-" she winced at the word, knowing it was a bit lame, "Couple! Please! I...." she knew the last words would hurt, so she said them in Katherine's mind: I... I wouldn't be able to have him if I even wanted to. Go. Have him, I... I can't without hurting him. And I don't want to do that. Adrian bit her lip, hard, and felt pain overwhelm inside her heart. She bolted into the woods, crashing this way and that until she found herself a long ways away, on her hands and knees, gasping for air through sobs. She pressed her forehead down on the ground, trying to get a handle on things as tears ran loosely from her eyes.
Adrian sat up, startled out of her thoughts. She stared at Jacob with alarm lurking in her eyes. When he asked why she was all alone, she quickly wiped her face and sniffed, standing up quickly. "That's my business, not yours." As she started to walk away, she heard his little comment about Derek. She whipped around, her face flushed. "Don't you dare make snide comments about him. And... he's around... somewhere. Probably hanging out with Katherine and having a good time." she snapped, and pulled her hood over her head as she started to walk silently away in the darkness. "Leave me alone, alright? You don't know who you're messing with." she called over her shoulder. She chewed on her lip, remembering those were Derek's words. You don't know who you're messing with. The words ran over and over in her mind, and she tried to ignore them as she walked deeper into the woods by herself.
Adrian's breath was taken away. Her eyes went wide when she actually heard Kate's voice in her head. You're going to be a father... She started moving down the road, away from the house without even knowing it. Congrats Derek, she thought distantly as she found herself running into the woods.
Adrian sat up, staring down at her trembling hands in silence. She didn't meet Derek's eyes just yet. "So... I sorta need some answers to why exactly you just turned me into a freaking werewolf." she said quietly and looked up, her eyes softening a little. "Why?"
Adrian sat up a little, keeping her expression blank. Then, she leaned forward and kissed him back for a moment. She pulled back and grinned softly. "You know, I really wasn't just expecting that." she admitted dumbly and shrugged her shoulders as if it was the most normal thing to do.
Adrian stared, practically in shock. For a moment, she couldn't even breathe as her heart fluttered in her chest. "Uh..."she got out, trying to speak. She felt like a total moron. She had been caught off guard. She looked into his eyes and nodded. She felt tears well in her eyes and she nodded again, repeating. "Yes. Yes." she said softly.
Adrian thought through it for a moment a small smile spread across her lips. She nodded. "Yes, actually, I would." she admitted and looked up at him. "But sweetheart, if your expecting real dinner that's not burned..." she trailed off with her joke and gave a sarcastic thumbs up. She winked and rolled her eyes, turning to serious again. "You did all of this...for us?" she asked and smirked a little.
Adrian grinned and took his hand. "Oh, yay. Thanks for the support about the 'falling flat on your face' thingy." she said wearily since she didn't really know how to dance nor party. Usually she would have to stay away from big crowds since all of their emotions hurt her deeply. But, she realized, she would be able to bare it for a while. Until she got tired and had to slip away in the night. She paused a moment and looked at him, frowning. "New Alphas?" she echoed. She thought hard for a moment before it dawned on her. She turned to him, raising a worried eyebrow. "You're kidding me, right?"she asked dully.
Adrian laughed a little before he swept her off in his arms. She clutched his arm as he bolted through the forest until they both wound up at the Mansion. She chuckled and stood up, stretching her arms and let out a playful yawn. A mocking grin spread across her face before she turned to him. “Don’t you dare ‘honey’ me.” She said in a sarcastic tone. She kissed his cheek lightly before she cocked her head to the side, raising a sharp eyebrow. “You think you can just get by me with a bit of flattery? I don’t think so.” She climbed up the steps on the porch and turned on her boot heal, her left arm wrapping around one of the posts that held up the roof. She put her weight against it with one of her arms looped around it as if she was dancing. “A party, eh?” she murmured to herself as she looked up in the darkened sky distantly. She paused and turned to him. “Can this ‘celebration’ also count as my birthday so I can already just get that done with?” She shivered at the thought of her birthday. She hated birthdays and even the celebration of them didn't make any sense to her. She sighed and rested the side of her head against the poll while she let her eyes gaze at him. “Why do you have to look so darn cute?” she put one of her hands up in mock surrender before she went on, “I mean, no offence on the Alpha Male thing, but you sure do look like a puppy that wants to play.” She smirked a little and then shook her head at him in a playful way before she finally went inside, motioning with a hand for him to follow as she held open the screen door. “Oh, come along, Alpha-Pup.” She called with a friendly smile.
Adrian kissed him back slowly as she wrapped her arms loosely around his neck, her eyes closed. Then, she pulled back just a little and watched him extra closely as her eyes began to adjust to the darkness. Was the werewolf part of her finally kicking in? Her expression just the slightest curious. "Are you happy?" she whispered to him as she rested her forehead lightly against his. Her eyes were trying to search his eyes for the truth. Yes, she was nervous but still wanted to know what he would say. "I don’t want a lie." She admitted, a serious look lurking in her eyes. "I want the honest truth. Are you happy with me?" she looked down and chewed on her lip, lost in thought.
Adrian smiled into his neck and kissed him back on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. She felt good in his arms, didn't feel like that Mind-Caster freak. She felt... real and like that past hadn't ever happened to her.
[dundundun... *starts to dance crazily* getting-into-my-takumi-mode...]
Takumi opened the door, staring blankly at Derek who had Adrian pinned to the floor with his own body. His expression was blank for a moment until his eyes filled with fury, locked on Derek and Derek only. He coughed loudly into his bawled fist, making it obvious that he wasn’t very happy with what he saw. He walked stiffly to the corner of the room, snatching up the baseball bat that was there. He twirled it around in his fingers impressively and whipped around, his expression grim. He pointed the top of the bat at Derek’s face, barely poking his nose. “Are you forcing our dear Adrianna into something that she will not do until she is married?” he growled, stepping forward, changing into his werewolf form. He glanced nervously at Adrian and then back at Derek. But something that even shown in the dark caught his eye. A ring that was slipped perfectly onto Adrian’s fourth finger. He took a step back in surprise and then quickly changed back into his normal human form. “Whoa…” he breathed. Confusion and a bit of loss showed in his expression. He frowned. “You two…? Wait. I thought you hated this retarded chicken boy, Adrian?” he turned to Derek. “And I thought you couldn't even stand her, Scott? (XD He got his name wrong on purpose)What’s going on here?” he pointed the bat between them, his eyes narrowed.
Adrian sighed, a bit irritated at Takumi’s outburst. She slipped herself easily from under Derek and stared at Takumi like he had just lost his mind. “Adrianna, I need a moment.” Takumi said suddenly and crossed his arms, not taking his eyes from Derek. She glanced between both of them before she just merely nodded, shooting them both a look that clearly said if they had a argument, she wouldn’t be happy. “I need some air.” She muttered under her breath before she got up and went out the door, leaving both of the boys alone.
Derek glowers at Takumi. "And what gives you the right to barge in on me and my fiancee?" he asks, his gray eyes growing colder.
[You just have to love big 'brothers' who are this fighty! XD XD]
When Takumi told her to leave, of course, she did. Takumi was like her blood brother, along with Newt. She walked upbehind Takumi and mouthed to Derek just before she left, "Play nice." Gosh, guys were so annoyingly protective sometimes yet it was so amusing to watch them at it. Then out the door she was. She walked down the long dark hallway, her hands in her pockets as her eyes just kept before her feet. She found herself in the party room and was surprised to see no Beta or Bella. She shrugged her shoulders and then grinned, thinking that maybe they could probably be up to something. She rolled her eyes and escaped out onto the creaky porch quietly. She looked up into the sky and realized the moon was out. Adrian silently crossed the dark lawn and found her feet heading up into the woods. Then, grinning, she realized this could get really fun between the two boys. She thought to Derek with a mischievous look, "This is the guy who was planning your death at the hospital. His name is Takumi Shelton Minho. Be nice and try NOT to kill him. Yes, he is amazingly annoying and he’s one stubborn idiot. But he’s like a blood brother to me. Along with the tall Scottish guy with the limp on his right ankle in the kitchen. That guy’s name is Newton Powell but to everybody he goes by just Newt." The leaves crackled under her combat boots and a cold breeze swept the bangs from her forehead. She closed her eyes, the howling wind lulling her. She came to a stop as she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet. "Where to head to next," she murmured to herself as her werewolf eyes adjusted to the darkness. She looked around and then began to walk again.
Takumi stared at him in utter disbelief. He laughed, coldly with no amusement in his tone. "What gives me the right? Adrianna is my sister, that’s my right. And actually, I have a right to be here and I have the right for an EXPLANATION." He crossed his arms, glaring daggers at Derek. He tapped his foot impatiently on the floor. "Start talking, kid." He snapped.
Derek drew back. "For starters, i proposed to her. She is going to be my wife soon, and probably the mother of my children someday. I love her more than she knows, and i'm willing to do anything to make her happy. Understood? Even if that means killing her stupid, psychopathic brother, in the long run i would have done good. And third, its none of your business who i kiss." he huffed, crossing his arms.
